Vinted Shoppers Share Frustration Regarding Sizing Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its sizing categories for women's and children's clothes but did not contact every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors are posting online stating that platform listings now display an altered size classification than originally posted because of the remapping.
Vinted explained the new system was more in line with other platforms.
It has advised users to check their listings and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, causing user dissatisfaction.
Sizing System Modifications
Before the change, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range such as S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the size labels have been reassigned - such as a large size was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
User Stories
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, from Glasgow, explained products she uploaded featuring size 14 markings were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they may become frustrated," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
A different user, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and selling on Vinted has been paramount following partial earnings loss," she stated.

It has emerged as a preferred choice versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
